He completed his medical education at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine (English) between 2003-2010 and then completed his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Ministry of Health Metin Sabanci Baltalimani Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital. He worked as a faculty member at Erzincan University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology for 3 years.
In 2021, he started to work as a chief assistant at M.S. Baltalimanı Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital, and in March 2021, he earned the title of Associate Professor and then continued his duty as a doctor lecturer. In 2016, Prof. Dr. Münir Ahmet SARPYENER received the Best Specialty Thesis Award (26th National Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Congress – Antalya, 2016) and has over 40 articles published in international journals and has been an editor and chapter author in many orthopedic books.
Assoc. Hanifi Üçpunar specializes in pediatric and adult spine diseases. In this field, he received training at Twin Cities Spine Center (Minneapolis-USA) in 2019, Istanbul Scoliosis and Spine Health Center – Florence Nightingale Hospital in 2022, and has been working in the Spine Diseases Clinic at Baltalimanı Bone Diseases EAH since 2020-2022. He is currently actively working at Bursa Private Aritmi Osmangazi Hospital as a member of Turan&Turan Health Group.
